Thank you for taking these photographs of Black people and putting them in books, you show how beautiful are people are and it’s inspirational :) I really enjoyed Chameleon and I look forward to reading your future YA novels (I totally agree, a black child can fly or be a werewolf or have magical powers of some sort! I’ll be waiting for you to write that :)

Chameleon is a book I recommend to students who like Hinton’s The Outsiders, and has been very popular in my library. I, too, would love to see another YA novel along these lines.
